Party Games/Activities & Crafts Ideas

Enjoy some special quiet time with your furry friend.....

How would you like to cuddle up to this big teddy bear?  While his energetic attendant or host will read a Pooh Bear book, the birthday child will sit on his lap with his friends gathering around too.  The birthday child's special job is to turn the pages for Pooh. 

Coloring Time!

Extra large pictures of Pooh that are ready to be colored.  Great activity to start off the party and Pooh would love to see the artwork when he comes to visit.  Pooh's Assistant will put some Pooh stickers on all their wonderful artwork.  Color with crayons or .... colored sand by using elmer's glue and sprinkling the colors onto your page.  Your host will help you and .... don't worry about the mess ...that is part of the fun of having a party outside your home!

Pot of Honey
 

Pooh loves his honey!  Hey!  Where is the Honey?  Someone put presents in Pooh's pot!  Gather in a circle and pass his pot around while the music plays.  When it stop, the person holding the pot removes a present.  The music restarts and the game continues until everyone has a present.  Then everyone opens their  prize/present at the same time.

Going Fishing

Pooh loves to have fun, and what is more fun than going fishing!  Try to catch a red, blue or yellow fish onto your poles (magnets on fishing poles  & metal clips attached to the plastic fish) and the color fish you catch will match the  color of the box which you choose your prize from.  Reel them in!

 
 
 

 

Pooh's Cards

Two decks of cards numbered 1 through 12, with each card having a different picture of Pooh.  From one deck, we pass out one card to each child.  From the second deck, Pooh will pull out a card.  The child with that card can pick out a wrapped prized from his "pot of honey" and unwrap it when everyone has gotten a prize.

Picture Frames

A very special craft focusing on your birthday child, would be to create picture frames.  Having each child join the Birthday Child & Pooh to get their Polaroid picture taken and then we will use colorful wide sticks, foam shapes, stickers & beads to decorate our frames.  Art inspires children's creativity & the children glow!
